Window cleaning warehouse are selling an antifreeze at £17.99 for 5l to put in pure water tanks to stop it from freezing. Has anyone tried it and does it work?

It is iso alcohol and it stops freezing in your system but to be effective it needs large quantities, ie 10% to -4 so that is 40 litres for a 400l tank.

although I see they say differently on the website
