This has been going off and on for the past 18 months my Doctor advised me to give up my job as a wfp window cleaner other wise a may have permenant damage. Does anybody on the forum have the same problem?

yea i got told by the oz to become a house husband, try standing further back from the building and go to a osteopath, doc are rubbish

Thinking off putting a mirror on the bottom of the pole look down instead of up if you get my drift ?

I have middle and upper back pain, neck and shoulder pain. I put it all down to wfp prolonged use. I have decided to live with it.

There are glasses where you look straight ahead but have a mirror that looks up. Mountaineer's use them.

i had the same - always had the twinges in neck shoulder's
spent the money and got a 18 SLX for everyday work - pains gone
if you using extel type the whip you get from them puts strain on the body , the SLX being carbon is stiff as hell for a pole so no wasted energy.

don't put your health at risk for a dead end job,why not get a job in a library or as a receponist!

stand further back
use the right and lighter equipment
get rid of any work that takes to long to do
stick with work thats brief, until you are fit

Same prob.
I did this
Bought SLX 35, allows standing further from building, plus rigidity and light saves your shoulders and neck,
See osteopath , after few visits go once a month for tweaks!
