Doesnt seem like you have the tenacity to tough out the rough....

Characters are always tested in bad times and your quitting. Your business will eventually fail if you run it with a negative attitude.

Maybe you should think about it long and hard before making a compulsive decision you may regret. I would and really think if its the business for you because unless you like it you wont be very good at it

Good Luck
Danny

I might be interested in the Farnham (and surrounding area) work... Depends what quality it is though? Whats the average house price per clean?

Resstructure the debt or find ways of being more efficient. Even then after making £1600 you have £3400 per month profit. If its not much at least you have something to work on to improve

Why bother doing a 10k leaflet drop when you are only getting through 70% of your work at present? Something doesn't add up here.

£5k is good for a round that does not make a profit and you want rid of.

So give me a shout when you change your mind . Cheers

Sounds like you've got 5k worth of work which is nigh on impossible to complete in a month.

Would be interested to hear how many customers you have

i have 371 custs. on a serious note do you think this is a lot of custs for the amount of money the houses are all diferent sizes i have sum houses which are 40 ish quid in hindhead but if you knw the area there not small but there not massive.   im alwaystold my prices are quite gud by other windies maybe there pulling my leg. im doing the 10 k leaflet drop cus i was up for a big amount of work so i cud help my bro out with work his 19 so at the mo he 800 a month which is half of the run nin costs hell be getting let go soon if icant swing things around and if a serious buyer comes in id just flog and start again without the overheads

the running costs are fuel 400 easy and 600 on van and ins and equipment and advertising which i will stop as its rubbish.
I actually remember hating it last winter does any1 else struggle like this or do i need to re evaluate the round.

I am only 24 and have limited no how with running a buisness i thought id be the nuts cus i was a great sales manager so i thought lol but it seems i havealot to learn i do genuinley own this round and have worked bl@@dy hard to get here but it doesnt seem worth it. im entrigued to know what you think about the 371 custs tho

You claim you cant get round the work but are advertising and canvassing and leafleting for more work  ???

Is your other user name Lee Gilroy?

I would say with that kind of turn over theres a sound business in there somewhere that could be turned around, what i did to get through my work was go to traditional on bottom windows only during the snow and ice, i knocked off a few quid as the customer would expect but its enabled me to get the round done in half the time and still earn a crust, as it stands all my work is upto date all my customers are happy and ive called it a day until after christmas. In the new year if i were you id canvass between the areas your working to pull the round together more and optimise travel time £400 is a hefty monthly fuel bill for a domestic round?? i i dont really think any advertising that you pay for gets great results in this trade apart from leaflets so if you are paying for anything else scrap it asap to save abit more money, you have a good turn over and more customers than you can cope with so its not needed.

Why dont you and your bro join forces and tackle the work load together instead of independantley?

have a good look at the areas , and sale areas that are slowing you down in travel.Compact the round together and build in areas that you can cover more easily.
Don't spread yourself out to quick.

yeah i dont believe you either, window cleaning has the lowest overheads you can imagine.

the only thing that could have happened is you were ripped off on the round, paid big bucks for it and cant pay it back?

or your a gambler, druggie, big house owner, shopaholic or all?
