always used step ladder but 3 week ago fell off the platform bit while on a slope, dislocated shoulder and wont be working till the New Year,so am going to review the step ladder or pointer issue then
-
dont have that problem with WFP sory but i had to say it
-
I USE BOTH AND I AM WFP TOO TOMMY I USE IT FOR SHOPS ;D
-
pointer every time. IMO Better and safer than steps
-
pointer be lost with out mine.
-
i have a 8ft pointer.to be fair it doesnt get used much these days!handy for the odd bungalow and hopping over bolted gates.also those inside porch doorways on some big country houses.
stepladders are awkward and not very stable IMO.
i just used a beer crate for many years but i prefer to use the tools designed for the job now.

A ladders are made for window cleaners to make work safer and easy to clean windows
steps are unsteady and not a proper tool for window cleaning
we use A ladders all the time

I prefer pointers but the round rungs are bad for my knees now :-\ they dont give the support of d rungs
