Hi,
I'm trying to come up with a quote for a potential customer, who wants 2 people 8 hours per night for 1 week at a time floor scrubbing.
we do not own a scrubber dryer, rental cost of this would be directly passed on to the customer, so its just what to charge for the labour. also there is 2 hours travel involved per day
I have a figure in mind, just wondering how much others might charge
if anyone can be of help it would be most appreciated.
kind regards
simon

is that two guys 8 hrs each? = 16 hrs or two guys 8 hrs in total

2 guys 8 hours each totaling 16 hours, for a week at a time .
the customer wants a day rate
thanks

£11.24 per hour and add the traveling time on unless your ops are willing to get there themselves and get paid for working hours only.

Caution!! Two guys?, one machine? Also if it's a battery ASD you won't get that length shift out of it. Regarding labour costs, whatever it is costing you plus Nic plus holiday pay should equate to circa 45 - 50% of your charge. Phil d

I meant to say 2 guys 2 machines.
Thanks for the warning on the battery life Phild, i dont know why my collegue didnt ask the rental company that question when speaking with them ???
The customer doesnt have many plug sockets, so i may have to use a generator unless anyone can suggest a more suitable method / machine?

hi there
depending on the circumstances a lpg machine may be more use, also it might be worth looking at a larger machine if you can get that in, so that you only need one machine instead of two, the productivity ratings on some machines now are quite high.
what size area are you looking at cleaning?
where is the water fill up and the dump point in respent to where the work area is ?
night work rate must be considered apposed to a standard working hours time
