Title: Bubbling ISO
Post by: Steven Shoreditch on December 13, 2010, 09:32:07 pm
I think if it bubbles on the glass, and the bubbles sort of cling to the glass, doesn't this mean that the dirt there will take ages to slide down the glass as well?

Isopropanol.  That anitifreeze stuff.

Even a small drop in the water seems to make it bubble on the glass.  Looks a bit like there's detergent in the water.

Anyway, if moves slowly down the glass and I'm beginning to think it could leave spots, not because iso has any tds, but because it might be stopping the dirt from getting down fast enough.

I have used ipa & methanol in upto 15% dilutions and other than the stuff bubbling and evaporating...the windows were fine.

Cheers
Dave.
