Working up to the 23rd and back to work on the 27th upto the 31st and back to work on the 3rd of January 2011. Shops, Public Houses etc and best time to clean Schools and also be clean Domestic Clients too.

And Shops and Public Houses & Domestic Clients have been told at the end of November about Christmas and all are fine even the last Friday in the Month lot. Shops are done weekly and Public Houses done Fortnightly so have to work and get out of her indoors way  ;D

I usually put money aside to pay the bills on my week off, but may not be able to this year after the last few weeks. May end up doing a couple of days. We'll see...

Did you know 27th is Boxing Day this year?  It can't fall on a Sunday.
I will be working up to the last light on Xmas Eve.  I also intend to work 29th - 31st.  I may do some on the 28th (not sure yet).  Of course this all assumes that we aren't fighting polar bears

If anyone turned up at my door over Christmas or any other Bank holiday for that matter they would be told where to go, Christmas is for family and chilling out, i wouldn't dream of turning up .unless it was a pre-booked job.
Talk about looking desperate or what.

I find most people are very happy when you turn up Christmas week, as they have family coming for New year and want clean windows.

I agree, the week leading up to Christmas is when customers want to see you, but while their family, friends etc are there is a big no no in my books.

I know my customers well enough to know who would and who would not welcome my presence over the christmas period. I have some who I know would be very happy to see me on the 25th, because to them it is, as it is to me, just another day   ;)

Hopefully get it all done and finish on the 23rd. Just managing to get ahead of the monthly schedule now. About 1 and a half days ahead. Planning to go back on the 4th but have some show homes that might need cleaning on the 28th (depends what the client says this week)

Working on the 25th, you gotta be kidding me

It's a Saturday, and the customers who wouldn't have a problem with it are also friends of mine.
My only thought at the moment is that I haven't decided for definite, although I will probably have the day off anyway!  ;D

Me too mate but it doesnt help when it gets dark at 330. Since Thursday last I've been doing 50% more than normal to make up for last week. I'm really knackered though now!!!!!
