Title: Form B immersion heater element

Can you tell me did you fit a mechanical flange or just fit element with a locking nut behind  it and what size hole was it , thanks

mechanical flange but you wont get the washer on that comes with it .
if your tank is thick plastic you might want to use the washer that comes with the immersion on the outside of the mechanical flange with some sealant .
and the washer that comes with the flange use on the immsersiom.

this is so you have enough thread on the flange to screw up tight if you get what i meen.

I used a 2 1/2 inch nut 65mm hole, couldn't get the flange local and only received them by post today.

The flange looks like the better option.
