I read a real load of dribble on here, about a recent squeaky thread, and the mod said he had to spend time deleting pointless posts.
He claimed to spend forty five minutes doing so every morning.
Thats the bit i don't understand.As the thread was pointless and tangentially off topic why tidy it up.It was hopelesss and uninformative.No one re-reads threads like this so why do they need to be policed?
The mods are so far up themselves it's not true.
Do random thoughts need sub editing?

And they need to be policed in case they get out of hand- threats etc.

well you did read it, as did I. And what is this if not a pointless post in the wrong section as it has nothing to do with window cleaning ;)

The thread was ongoing and was only halfway down the page.
Roger was being picked on by all and sundry, I could have been lazy and just deleted the whole thread.
That would mean deleting shed loads of threads (or could, I wouldn't do that of course)
Tidying up such threads is a real chore.
I only wish there was a way of selecting several posts in a thread to delete
at a time, having to delete one at a time is incredibly time consuming

I think the why bother is a serious point.Please move or delete.

I've actually really enjoyed the recent banter,.. it was all in good fun & everyone saw that (except for one lone muppet). I haven't laughed so hard in ages as I did at the Squeaky thread. :)
