Title: L5 up and running, whats the best hose out of the unit to the reel?
Post by: gsw on December 11, 2010, 04:38:03 pm
My Hose keeps going so soft it comes out of the fittings either at the bottomn of the L5 or off the hozelock (metal) at the reel.

what is the best half inch hose to come out of the l5 unit to the reel and what fittings do most use? the microbore seems to be coping ok though!

cheers

Greg

cheers mate,

next question then, to those that use washing machine hose:

do the fittings that come on the hose screw directly onto the l5 and then I need to connect the other end to the hose reel so is the bore on the washing machine hose capable of taking a hozelock fitting?

Set mine up today and noticed that  ::)

Someone suggested the hose used for a filling loop on a boiler, not sure what size fittings they have though

You need 1/2 inch tap adapter
