Went to a custie this morning and said " can you open gate pls bcus Im doing your windows" Bloke replied "oh can you leave it till next month. Oh ok and off I went further up road to another custie.
Anyway about 5 mins later blokes wife came running up road and said "can you pls clean windows"
From experience I find dealing with women on the door a lot better than men.
Anyways it was a £20 custie and she also gave me a good tip.

i hate it when i do collecting and the men say the wife is out. if they cant pay for a small window cleaning bill how the hell do they help with the other bills around the house.
some men dodnt even know that they have a cleaner

Totally agree.
Very rare you get turned away by the women. Always the blokes who don't want to spend.
But then maybe they've got such expensive gold-digging women living off them that they can't.
That's a possibility...

Trades fortnight is a fortnight in July that trades go on holiday.

An old tradition rarely acknowledged or adhered to that was once popular in some Northern European backward nations. I believe Scotland was the last country in the Northern Hemisphere that voted to get rid of it, as it was seen as being olde worlde and out dated and that was in the 1700s.

Had a "ignore the husband make sure you clean them every month"and she gave her husband a telling off for sending me away last month,couldn't stop laughing and they gave me 2 bottles of wine and a tip ;D
