Title: Anyone got a Digital Varistream?
Post by: Klean07 on December 09, 2010, 08:48:49 pm
I have it on the lowest setting but the amount of pressure coming through pole feels like its on the high setting. I do remember though when I first had it there were some instructions telling me how to adjust it.
Does anyone know because Ive lost the piece of paper?

Hi Klean i have one.......what a piece of......... not like the old ones....anyway turn it on you have 1-9 thats the power from the pump slow to fast..... then if you keep both the up and down button pressed youll get 1-9/a-g i think...... thats the pressure setting when the system has reached the correct pressure to turn it off when you turn your pole off and  depending on hose size .......

If your battery is low even if  it says 2 bars youll keep getting a " u" meaning sytem cut off......

so if you want more water up pole use the numbers.....if you have smaller hose use a higher letter a/g

Yes thought it was something to do with that. My old varistream blew up but lasted 3 years and it was great during that time. This new varistream isnt a patch on the old one. It also keeps turning itself on after Ive turned it off. ???

exactly thought they were taking the p. i know its not in there interest but why not just say we dont sell replacement boards rather than making the customer feel like they are getting ripped off. oh well there loss..i have a variflo at the moment but just thought i would see if i could do something with this broken one. when i do buy a new one it wont be a varistream.

I have both the old one and the digital, I also have a pump running off a 12 volt motor speed controller. It's a fraction of the price and does the same job.
You have to have the pressure switch connected though.
The controller on the back pack trolleys is only a speed selector.
