Title: pipe lagging foil?

sure someone last year had this for wrapping tank pipe and pump hose in and it worked.

Well he's right up to a point. Depending on temperatures, lagging alone will not stop everything from freezing in the van, you still need some heat.

Mate of mine bought some loft insulation yesterday to isulate his van and tank. Its the alluminium one so wont get everywhere. He said it was buy three and get two free from Focus yesterday. We'll see anyway.

I've had my pipes from the tank lagged the last 2 winters and they still freeze.

Yep, and mine burst in two places.  :(  So really, this lagging lark... bit questionable I think.

I lagged all my pipes, filters and RO and if there was no greenhouse heater in the van i'm sure it would all freeze up. Don't bother is my advice.
