Post by: Shaun_Ashmore on December 08, 2010, 07:09:30 pm
If anyone uses them what do you find is the

a. strongest
b. best value

I've just bought a von schrader style upholstery cleaner and wondered what was about?

Chemblend is good value, and leaves a nice clean smell. Prochem crystilising shampoo was more foaming.

I use Chemblend dry foam which Robert Meldrum told me about. I used it on a suite last week with a Minitex and it came up lovely.  Great stuff with a nice fragrance. I have also used Fusion Clean on a suite and it done a good job.

Beat me to it Gary ;D

I would say the answer to both A+B would be Chemblend . I used the fusion clean by mistake on a job. I dont think fusion clean was intended for upholstery, I could be wrong. The only problem is finding someone local to you who supplies the Chemblend stuff.

I get it from -

Chemspec Fast Drying Upholstery Shampoo at 1:8 is my preference.

a,  don`t know

b,  The chemblend foamed the most, on par with the prochem shampoo.
I usually use the chemblend with a handmitt, and the fusion clean with the minitex. Don`t spend much time experimenting on custies furniture, usually trying to escape. ;D

Chemblend are about 30 miles from me so that's good, I was thinking about Chemspec's quick drying shampoo because I thought it may have grease cutting ability with it being quick drying.

Thanks I shall go and empty the kids piggy banks.
