Thinking myself lucky that the only thing that's been damaged so far by the weather is a filter housing directly before one of the pumps in the van.

Went on holiday and came back to a nice block of ice in the tank.

Yes. Spent hours thawing my system today, and there was one last bit of ice by the tank outlet, just as I was about to go to work. I wriggled the hose and it split.

Cue half an hour of cutting off and replacing a piece of hose...

Only got two houses done and it froze up again anyway.
1c apparently too...

We really have been lucky in Sunny Plymouth; no snow to speak of and, providing you go through the little routine of bringing everything inside at night and putting the heater in the van, a normal days work the following day.

With the heater on in the van I don't even suffer frosty windows :)

So where's the worst place to be a window cleaner right now ???

Well, I didn't ask without good reason, and here you go, the proof.  SSWC's fingers!  You could even fingerprint me!

Just a few snaps of my f'ked up copper supply line.  Lucky I found it before the thaw.  Pipe split in two places.

That was my thoughts.  15mm on the day that John  Lennon bought one with his name on it.  Day after Pearl Harbor, btw.

He also needs nail clippers and maybe a file too.
