making up your own spotters to sell ?
I intend to fill my own bottles and label them with my own company lables and sell to customers and in my shop, is it possible to fill with a solution like microsplitter or similar and sell or do i need to provide the original label or packaging or say what the solution contains etc ? or put the original product name on it ?
Just want to make sure i get it right before launching in to mass production ;D
regards

You can call it what you like, but would be wise to copy the chemical data from the original supplier and have MSDS sheets available
You might be better to approach a supplier and just have your own label added ............a lot less work and no concerns about getting it wrong. There are plenty offering such a service and prices can be very attractive.
You can call the product anything you like ( avoiding brand names of course )
-
Amtech can do this for you.
I am sure there will be others too.
-
sounds good what sort of price are we talking about here ?
Is that bottle, solution and labeled up as well all in ?

I got mine from world of clean they design the label and sent the bottles with the solution in it. I had to stick the labels on and put the trigger spray on as well they sent a box of bottles and a box of trigger sprays it only takes 1 minute to do one and they look great I payed £1.20 each I think and there is no risk your end.

The most professional looking spotters in my opinion are from Alltec, but the solution is not too good, so I`ve replaced it with my own.

think i'd be hard pushed to do it any cheaper :o

Steve the alltec does look the more professional looking and its cheap enough to give away and they will maybe keep it under the sink cupboard etc..
-
get a price from restormate, i use theirs and my customers love them!

do most of you guys just give them away as freebies to every customer, or do you sell them as well ?

These are hopeless, I give away the Solutions spotters and I get feedback to say they work. Had someone just this morning thanking me, as they had used it to good effect.
-
I think its quite important that they do actually work well, if you are going to give away loads and they
are rubbish it will reflect badly on your whole business, think i would rather pay a bit extra and have
something that does the business,

i do my own, costs around 80p complete. i give them away. and i refill them when custy asks, (within reason)

If you decide to buy from a supplier best to buy full strengh
as some are only 1/3 or 1/2 strengh

your looking for a spotter that doesn`t need to be rinsed thus not leaving a residue.
-
^^ cheapest microspliter you can get your hands on.
Dont like the look of those altec bottles. I prefer the looks of thee ones restoremate do, moree attractive bottle if you ask me.
-
Hi,
I use www.dormex.co.uk.
They will professionally screen print your bottles.
Initial cost slightly higher, as the template needs to be made.

Cleansmart ones are fairly inexpensive and they don't charge for setting up your logo.
I got 60 professional strength 500ml bottles of micro splitter made up for around £130 including vat and delivery. They look great and sell well.
-
Thats not bad, but thats still over £2.00 a bottle, im trying to work on around £1.00 a bottle so I can get out as many out as poss, if I cant do it near that then poss consider cleansmart etc

Solutions spotters are about £1.60 each +del +vat, but they do work and very well.
I had one on the job with me to give at the end to the client.
I needed a spotter so grab this "free" one and used it, so much so I had to go and get another one for the custy.

I prefer the original Orange Alltec one for a Sale Product
The Eco one does not work in my opinion so does not help
