Power Burst prespray, then rinsed with F & F and a splash of Odour Fresh
Spent 1.25 hours on the dry vac!
Used Envirodri (B & W brushes) throughout the lounge but not on stairs or landing.

I thoughht my houses looked different when i came in tonight! :-X

To be honest I didnt think those carpets looked "really bad"
Sure there was debri about - but a good vacuuming would have got rid of that - and you did say it took you 1.5 hours for vaccing.
I would like to have seen the result after vaccing but before applying Powerburst.
-
Yes looked more like plaster and some sort of rubble but the after picies are ok.

I have to say I was thinking the same but was waiting for someone else to say it first :o

Decent enough result..............but something you may have missed. If the upholstery / valance / cover comes in contact with damp / wet carpet it will end up with a nasty watermark.

Heres a 'bad' one i did a few months back... It was a students accomodation. Took me 1 1/2 hours to vacuum the place. Lots of unusual creepie crawlies id never seen before. it was a lovely job!!

Robert, the carpet was dry (at least to the touch) by the time the covers were allowed back down. How wet do you leave carpets?? ::) ;D
Vaccing did get rid of the dry stuff, but the carpets were full of ground in dirt, and a few million Jack Russell hairs. I never even considered pic's at this stage.
To be honest I only took the pictures before I started to show the state of the carpets to my customer, more to cover myself if things didn't work out than anything. These jobs are supposed to be left as clean as possible by each trade, but with this one I think the tenant had added a bit of 'mess' themselves, maybe in the hope of replacements. Notice the landing, it was loose all over and sliced away at one end.
When finished I was so impressed with the results that I bought the company 8)
