well there i was taking a pee and it just popped into my head :o
like POP and i went YES OH YES YES Like you do
now the shame is i have just only a month ago re fitted my van as some of you know ,But if i had thought of it before i would have given it some serious thought , it would be quit simple to sort out and might even solve our frozen van problems
still can't get over the how simple it could be !
now the question is do i tell or not ?

do tell

No don't. If it's that good you could be able to make some money out of it; this is business after all, not some altruistic charity.
It's probably a load of nuts anyway! ;D
Is it under-tank-heating; a bit like what you can do in your kitchen before you put the tiles down?
-
I think you are attention seeking.
Don't say any more on the subject. It's a waste of everybodies time, were all flat out working here. ;D

simply have under floor heating in the back of the van in the form of some type of electric blanket , that is wired into the van and a small split relay to a seperate battery or plug in point for home and weekend use simples
now here comes the bararge of negative comments

Already seen in mentionrd, not sure if it was on here or window tools, think it said it could be done, you can buy under floor heating in a blanket form or sheet and it would run off the van.

Tosh,
this is an interesting picture. The Americans pay for a service like this to clear their driveways of snow so they can get their cars out in the morning. If the winters are going to become like this then maybe this could be a winter job consideration.
As the councils don't seem to be gritting housing estates, I wonder what the chances are of an estate signing up to a snow clearance service - maybe a Bobcat type of vehicle.

As we already pay to have roads gritted, why should we pay again for a private service just cos the council cant be bothered?

You're in the Big Society now, mate!

Ditch the underfloor heating and stick one of these in your van instead.
