Title: Freezing Point of 40% Isopropyl

apperntly they use this in colder countries in pure water (and i would have thought trad water) to stop freezing down to as low as -20 c  :o

can anyone enlighten me? this could well be our solution!

I looked at the stuff a few years back ,made a few calls and the prices as i remember  :o :o :o

5L is aprox £7 if I remember right. The dilution needed would be less than cost effective.

ah right yeah, i never thoght of that, dam it thought i was gonna be a hero on here for a minute  ;D so out of interest how much would it cost to freeze proof 100ltr of pure water?

£56 per 100L at £7 per 5L and 40%
