Title: BT BUSINESS LAND-LINE
Post by: Matthew Bateman on December 07, 2010, 08:31:02 am
A thread which might save someone some money, however it is simply dependant on your individaul telephone usage.

Yesterday I changed my BT telephone account over to a 2 year business contract. Up until then we had been paying for a deal which worked out on average at £85.00 a month. This deal included broadband internet, line rental, unlimited landline calls 24/7 but mobiles were charged (cant remember at what rate, but they were). My better half uses the phone a bit to call her kids fairly often as theyve left home and its generally to their mobiles.

Anyway the new contract is £40 a month for broadband (up to 10Gb a month), unlimited landlines, unlimited international landline calls, 300 minutes a month to mobiles and any other mobile call after to that a mobile will cost 20p max, so long as it doesnt go over the hour.

That should half our telephone bill.

Additionally its in the name of Oakley Window Cleaning so can be set off entirely against tax hopefully.

Anyway, it might help someone save some money, if it could call BTs business dept.

I use Orange for my home phone...

£28 per month, which includes line rental, all calls (inc mobiles) and broadband.

It's discounted becase I am an Orange mobile customer.
