Just seen long range forecast on Central news. Next Mon, Tues, Wed heavy snow again. Havent we had enough?

If the forecast is to be believed for next week after working Thurs Fri and Sat this coming week when the temps are in the plus region i'm going to need the rest, my body will be in shock if i have to work for 3 straight days.

Don't think they are sure what's going to happen. BBC have changed their mind about Thursday for Midlands - only plus 1 now - won't even melt the flipping ice on the ground.
It then says rain for Friday. Next Wed possible snow - or maybe not ::)
Some of the 'can you clean them when its nicer weather but before Christmas' customers might end up being out of luck this year - even working 7 days.

could last well into the new year according to some forecasts!i think we all need to just get out and do a bit every day including saturdays and sundays.even if its only afternoons otherwise there will be plenty of skint window cleaners come xmas time!! ;D ;D ;D ;D

I worked a few hours yesterday in the sub-zero temps. Just put grit down if a bit icey and got the water off the windows asap.

thing is its not getting above about minus 7 here, even screen wash is freezing on the glass! you would thing they would of invented something for pure water and trad water to work colder than this!
it feels ok in the sun (south facing side of the property but as soon as im in the shaded side my neat concentrate screenwash freezes on contact with the glass, even using the "turbo" trad method!!!! madness :o

It looks like the tipping point for that is about -6 then because I managed at -5 last year (trad) on an unheated shop. Ice was forming on the back of the squeegee channel and the sills got icy but it could be done.

GB if you wait until noon and work until 3pm-330pm you should be ok!where abouts in the country are you?ive heard of quite a few on here going out too early and having to come home after half an hour!i personally think its better to wait until late morning/noon and clean as much as you can before it goes dark.
its forecast heavy rain friday and saturday for the north west! ::) ::)

im in east lincolnshire, i did wait for mid morning yesterday then did three bungalows all went well with neat screenwash and detergent until i got in the shades side of the propertys
were according to one of my custys it was -7 this was between 11.30 and 12.00 so i couldnt see is getting any warmer all day so i went home

I admire your spirit Dazmond but to some of us it isn't just a case of "just get out" as mentioned a few times us lot up here in the Scotpole have to contend with no parking in any estates/streets due to mountains of packed ice and still untouched snow, today for instance is a beautiful sunny day here in Edinburgh but i travelled through about 5 - 6 miles of where the majority of my work is and at not one point could i pull in to start work.
if the opportunity arises I will work on a Sunday for the first time in 25 years Praise the Lord fellow windaes for a full Sunday service 8)

ach only minus 14 here this morn according to her jeep LOL. Not going above freezing all day it seems and hear dour town centre is still in a feckin mess with stranded vehicles.

Not really. One dusting for a morning last week. Hardly seen any snow.
It's the temperatures not the snow that's annoying.
I worked in snow last year, but can't work in this.
