for those that have ordered a l5 from ebay,  besides the gas, what else do i need to buy to make it work,  ie  special pipes or new regulators

if using lpg, an lpg regulator (red usually)
if butane then a butane reg. (blue usually)

which is best lpg or butane

use propane (lpg). Butane liquifes below a certain temp (5 degrees C I think). Propane is good to minus.....eerm quite a lot :P
