had my clx for a few months and flush it regularly to get rid of the grit build up inbetween the sections, today its was getting quite gritty again and some sections getting stuck so when i got home i pulled all the sections apart stuck it in the bath and flushed each section sepeately, with the plug in. Wow i couldnt beleive how much rubbish came out and i only flushed it last week. so i put it back together and wow, its so much smother now, its like now.
dont know if anyone else does this or not, but i would highly recommecd it.

Hurts when you sit on the clamps though. ;)

haven't got a bath long enough :D good to keep your tools maintained "look after your tools and they'll look after you" ;D

Which of you had the tap end? You or the pole?

Lee once you have flushed it out then spay each section and the clamps with a good PTFE lubricant, i did and now mine is smoother than when it was first delivered to me.
Have to be careful talking about Gardiners products on here though - last time i got the 'Gardiners Gestapo' email me on this ;D
