Easy, why didn't I think of it before?
You want a pole that stays extended but has no clamps?
Ok, here it is.
Get your ordinary pole and remove the clamps.
Second, dip the entire pole in water - make sure no ISO in it, ok?
Allow to freeze overnight.
Bingo! One clampless pole.
Don't forget to extend it first, of course.
