Title: Should have known better
Post by: ants on December 06, 2010, 10:54:01 am
Than to try working this morning,
Left it till 9.15 before starting but water was freezing on the glass thro 8mm hose, wouldnt even flow thro 6mm hose.
Looks like another £0 week.
Not many bragging about income now!!!!!!!

Made a decision to be out everyday this week no matter what and want to clear a min of £500 by Friday.

Like Dazmond Im leaving my WFP at home and using ladders with lad footing the bottom where required.

Fortunately I had only swapped half my round over to WFP so these are the ones getting done this week.

-5 at the moment but will be as high as -2 by lunchtime

Working on theory of heated houses the glass will be warm so no problems with freezing on glass b4 i can squeege it off ..... thats the theory anyway.

Should be +5 in this area from Thursday onwards ?

11.30 update

Well at least I tried.

Went out first house water froze on glass so went to car shop got screenwash and poured into bucket ...... still froze

still -5 so probably why .... would use antifreeze but dont want to kill all the mogies from the estate with kidney damage

try again tomorrow

I am seriously considering jacking it in until march. I think a lot of custies would be happy with a 3 season service!! I am seriously dying, I had very little slush fund, all that is gone, and more!! All I am doing lately is paying out, A lot of it is money being spent trying to work i.e £435 night heater for van!! Still cannot work as freezes on glass anyway  :'(
I really do not know what to do, My girlfriend is not too happy about the situation either, Hopefully in next couple of days it will be a distant memory  :-\

I've been out and done three jobs ok, but water freezing in pole hose and the sections sticking means it's stop for now, and I have some other business to do this afternoon anyway, and I don't mean take a dump.
