I've got a CLX 18' pole, but need higher pole for some other windows, should i buy 26' which will reach them or 31'which will reach and poss come in handy for jobs that may yet come in rather than have to buy yet another. I would appreciate the benefit of your experience. Thanks in advance for any advice.

Go for a 25ft SLX or maybe even the 30ft. You can always take base sections off when you don't need them. Although more expensive it's lighter & more ridgid. ;)

:o What if i'm a pauper and on a tight budget? i might be more sorted next year 4 an SLX, i like the look of em though.

Sell your CLX, you won't need it anymore! ;D
The slx is worth the extra money without doubt but like you say, if you've got a budget then the clx is probably the next best thing. Unfortunately, only you can really decide how high you need to go. A 25ft slx does 95% of my work. ;)

Thanks for your advice, i might see if i can afford the SLX. Out of interest, would you recomend a Brodex Hyrdra alloy pole, as i noticed they are flogging 'em off cheap,£115+vat for 26'?

Not for 26ft no. might be ok as a cheap shorter pole. They're cheap for a reason. ;)

If you're just starting out in WFP then there's no harm in just getting the 27 foot CLX. It won't be as good as the SLX but the money saved can be spent on other equipment. If it's only the occasional window you need to clean at the height you need the bigger pole for then there's no harm in getting the aluminium pole either - I hasten to add that it WILL be heavy and should be used only occasionally!

Thanks, i'll give it some thought.
