Unfortunately, my Son who was managing the carpet cleaning side of my business was tragically killed in a road accident 3 weeks ago and I do not have the energy
or inclination to carry on with this side of our business anymore so, anyone looking for a good machine that has hardly been used look on ebay No: 4407912515.
All the money raised will go to his 2 very young children.

Alan,
That is truly dreadful news and my thoughts are with you and your family.
I have left this on the main board to hopefully help in getting you a decent price for the machine to benefit your grandchildren .
I feel sure some will want to make donations and maybe you could ring me 01702 473700 or post an address which donations could be sent to.
If you would prefer not to receive donations we would of course respect your decision.

Hi Guys,
Spoke to Alan , who is obviously still traumatised by what has happened.
He is unable to take calls at the present but I am sure he would appreciate any messages of support.
Any donations which we in the CC industry can send will be a big help in what is a really tragic situation.
It is probably best if anyone wishing to help Alan sends cheques/letters to Alan Whitley at my address 26 Harley Street,
Leigh on Sea , SS9 2NJ
I will forward them on .
If anyone wants to send direct , email me at dougholloway@fsmail.net and I will pass on details.

Alan,
Very sorry to hear of this tragic news.
My thoughts are with you at this time.
As Trevor says, we all moan about things daily, that really are so insignificant in the grand scheme of things. It's only when something like this happens to someone, that we wake up and realize what really is important to us.
If only we could keep this realisation of what really matters in life at the forefront of our minds always.
Take care Alan.
Regards.

So sorry to hear of your sad news. Please accept my deepest sympathies.

Fintan,
The situation is truly tragic and without wishing to compromise Alan's privacy , he has been left with responsibilty for two young children.
If some of us can be kind enough to donate , say £20 , collectively we could help Alan out a little .
The reason I have put my address is that Alan is still shocked .
Those that know him well will obviously make personal contact.
Cheers,
Doug
