im going out every day with hot pure water in barrels and aim to be on plot for 10am.if water starts to freeze in jets/hose ill resort to vise versa on a trad pole for upper windows with screenwash if necessary.tradding all lower windows.
im aiming for at least 4 hours every day including sat and sundays until the 24th december.
im not having another week off as ill be having 2 weeks off due to xmas and my trip to new york.

i cant see hot water from tap keeping warm for long in 25 ltr barrels in these current temps.
-
better than stone cold water plus ill cover the barrels with a thick duvet and just pull one or two out when i need them.i reckon theyll keep luke warm at least until 3pm.

Barrels keep warm for hours
We pre fill with hot water when we do carpet jobs that w start 8.30 am, the water still warm after I pm.
As an exercise
Check last barrel with your Tds meter, it should have temp gauge on it.

I intend to do at least a full week. Last weeks issue was the snow which isn't forecast for this week. Working with an L5 gets round the frozen equipment issue. I'll take plenty of salt as well just in case of frozen paths etc below doorways and windows.

all i can do is bring barrels into flat (kitchen) as ro is at my parents :(
Also pole tubing and brush.
