anyone who saw my daft video on the Joe/mod topic might be interested in the site I used to make it and how it could be used in an interesting and different way for websites.
i made this video in 5 mins and I think it is very different, I don't think it would be out of place on a website

Think that means no :P.
My 14 year old son does these, never thought of doing a carpet cleaning one, it's not a bad idea!

Foriegners use this approach a lot. But if you are a local tradesman why would you 'hide' behind these charachters when potential custies could see and hear you. If you feel the need to do video, just get a camera and a tripod and some balls.

It's handy if you're an ugly git who can't string a sentence together, it's the way forward for me :-[

you could buy a camera and do them yourself. but why not do both.
I see this being used for gimmick items like.....
'click video to see this week special offer'
or
'do you have snow salt on your carpet? click video for advice'
then you can make a specific video and have it embedded on your home page in 5mins.
then next week you spend another 5mins making another special offer video, each time you are putting fresh material on your website (which I'm told google likes to see)

Looks a bit like that Promite Video on Alltec Select teams sites

Are you going to give it a try Ian?
