hi, does anyone else run one of these. thinking of getting one, run a trolley with about 8 barrels of water a day and some trad gear, like the idea of 4x4 but dont want anything too big.

heres a write up on them, I would not mind one my self but the payload is a bit low at 580kg for me.
but would handle 8 barrels no problem

get the td4 bmw engine
I'll second that. ;)
I've got a 5 door, I'm thinking about taking rear seats out, having a custom made tank and getting rid of the berlingo van.

best thing about 4wd is you park up on deep snow at roadside and get about a lot eaiser without the worry of getting stuck ideal for trolley users worth the extra expense for 4wd without the need for a van

freelander looks really good mate would get one of them only downside for myself no rear seats which i like as use my grand vitara as an all rounder
