I've just taken a 40-40 RO out of one of our vans to turn into a static system, I want to fit an electronic level sensor to the IBC to cut off the water to the RO when full, where can I get it from?
Need 12v or 240v level sensor, and a solenoid, tried Maplins but can't find what I need.
Cheers......Ian

Hi Ian,
I'm in a similar situation at the moment...
I'm setting up a static system in my new unit - I was going to go down the auto cut-off route, but I've decided to use timers instead.
A water timer to shut off the water going to the RO and a normal electric socket timer which will shut off the booster pump a few minutes before.

Got my 12v solenoid from Purefreedom Ian,£70ish and the 240v to 12v converter from Maplins was £20. You're doing the same as i did,van to static.

Varitech sell the 12v (or 240v) solenoid and either vertical or Horizontal float switch..

I spoke to Pure Freedom (think it was Alistair) on Wednesday and he was going to get back to me "in 10 minutes" with prices, not heard from him yet. Might give them a call on Monday.
I've had a look on Maplins website and can't find what I'm after.
