Title: A snow day marketing tips thread
Post by: jasonl on December 02, 2010, 08:33:16 am
Why not have something positive today?

I will start ,  this is a letter I had written , originally posted in the documents section .

The "dirty ,smelly"  headline pokes out of the window on the envelope , awakening curiosity in buyers ,, this paticular letter was aimed at care homes , and slightly adapted for nurseries.

This is the one I sent to Nursing and care homes...... Now I will be signing them all night

At the bottom there is a box which has a special offer for Dec AND JAN , FREE APPLICATION OF SANITIZER

                    Dirty,Smelly carpets?
……….We have the (cost effective) solution.
Care environments like yourselves all over Dorset and Hampshire are gaining odour free buildings, by having carpeting and soft furnishings regularly maintained by CleaningPRO!!
Those  carpets with black ”unknown” stains, greasy wheelchair marks and nasty smells are no match for my team.

With cleaning by CleaningPRO, you can be sure that our methods are safe and effective for use in every property. All of our cleaning agents are certified safe for humans to come into contact with.

Advisory visits cost nothing and there is no obligation, so why not call me on
 FREEPHONE 0800 6125390 or 01202 854614 For a free no obligation quotation.
Or contact me via my website……..

I was told when i sold double glazing that the worse the weather the  more work you will get from cold calling.

walk into carpet  shops today and you will be the first person they have seen all day and they will be more willing to talk to you .

get your walking boots on and get out there :D :D

The weather forecast is suggesting -9 here tonight. Van heater will be cranked up tonight.

Jasons spot on, if you can't work on the job there's loads of things you can do that will make up for it many times in the future. And sometimes thats just sitting down with a piece of paper and taking stock.

Where you are now, where you want to go and how you are going to get there.

When you are running around chasing your tail it's very easy to go off track, become less effective and burn yourself out.

Only started in August, so it has been hit and miss on how busy I've been.  One minute I'm booked solid and the next dead.  Gone quite this week so have been delivering leaflets in villages local to me, have to be a bit carefull as it is very slippery under foot and can only deliver about 250 in the time it takes me to deliver 500 in a town but I have had two jobs booked from 4 enquires out of 350 leaflets delivered so a lot better return.  Just about to brave the elements again so fingers crossed.

Wow that's unbelievable. Well done.

I'm sure if that was me they would all want it doing this side of Christmas when I can't fit them in.
