I have been asked to clean these windows in & out approx 3 monthly. Two sash windows on the left extension back & front. Basement windows do not need to be cleaned.
I have a price in mind bUt would like to see what you would charge just for the heck of it.
The property is at Prosperous Wimbledon South London. I clean traditionally.

£90 id charge(2-2 and a half hour job)id wfp the outsides though.if it was just out sides £35-£40.

-
would'nt fancy tradding that :-[
prob charge £30 for outsides wfp,
then £50 for insides
-
looks like a small trad pole would be needed for the insides as i doubt you ll be able to reach the top of the windows by hand. ;) ;D ;D

Hi
Dasmond i thought 90 as well 30 for the outsides x2 for the insides. be tough trad though.

wow i thought £30 outside and £45 for inside = £75 looks like ive got the job so far ;D just kidding.
-
when was that picture taken? looks like summer!
-
£55 or so in and out.
That place'd take about 20 minutes on the outside, or have I missed a 3,000 square foot conservatory? You boys!
I see 16 windows, are you lot charging £2.00 a window now?? ?? ?? ??
-
Hi,
I use a 2 or 3 step step ladder for insides. Am curious as to why you say its tough traditionally. Ground & first off double pointer, dormer windows from inside both sides. Easy peasy lemon squeesy. Perhaps you mean tougher then WFP?

i think i'd try for £75 but i'd drop to £60 ( about 2 hours at most i hope = £30 an hour) dont think i'd fancy doing it as a one off for £50 though, depends how much i needed the work i suppose
-
id charge £40 out and £30 in 8)
-
no way matt!an hour to clean the outside wfp and an hour and a half insides.that includes set up time and driving away.dont forget FREQUENCY every 3 months and theres a lot of trees about so extra scrubbing and rinsing and also you dont want to rush jobs like these IMO.
dazmond
-
say an average small semi takes 15 mins wfp.THIS HOUSE IS WAY BIGGER!! ;D ;D ;D ;D
insides would take half hour longer IMO than the outside.
-
£50 in and out for each clean. ( maybe add t and biscuit)
looks like a nice place to work, I'd want to be sure that I got it on board.
I wrote this before seeing wimbledon, £70 in and out quarterly. (With super frothy double moccachino and penguin)
-
daz why would it take 2 .5 hours i thought you were quick i think 30 mins for the out side maybe a hour for insides as you got dormer windows to do from inside ;D
-
wish people would read the first post HES TRAD NOT FECKING WFP. ::) ::) ::) ::)
IF YOU CANT READ HOW THE HELL DO YOU LOT MANAGED IN LIFE.
-
£100 or if they pay within 7 days £90 ;)
look at the house they must have the money to pay good money for it
-
i would not do it if i only done trad.. youd need a big ladder at the front.
ladders are banned ;D
-

i was going to say £50 at tops but with the hammering you have got for saying £55 then i better shut up ;D
-
If i lived there i would let you do the 2nd floor wfp but otherwise i would want the trad approach, i dont think these sash windows suit wfp.
If i went to quote i would also want to do it trad and wfp 2nd storey, definitely definitely trad and having the insides to do means the outsides have got to be right.
I`ll just work out a price.
Modified my post to put in a price £68
-
And once i had done it once or twice I`d think this job was worth doing at £55

what makes you say, that these windows dont suit wfp ???
-
How many glass doors inside
-

dazmond
i wouldnt wfp that look at all the ivy under the windows makes a right mess of windows below
-
i use an unger square brush, but i was thinking if you only had a rounded edge brush you would not get in the corner on these sash type windows!?
does anyone agree?
-
30 out 40 in about 70ish sounds reasonable ;D
-
i would charge about £75.00 in and out
-
no way matt!an hour to clean the outside wfp
You need to work on your technique mate. Why does it take you 4 minutes to do one window WFP?
-
£55 or so in and out.

Theyre amateurs Trevor thats their problem. I can live with their beatings anyway, water off a ducks back ;D
-
wish you all lived up here I would do that in and out for nearer £40
-
Would charge £80.00 as I counted about twenty windows and that includes the roof light and plus two doors so about 22 to be cleaned. ;D ;D
-
wish you all lived up here I would do that in and out for nearer £40
for a poshy like that in Edinburgh i'd be looking for 60 both sides of the glass , but i'd probably make more if i offered to clear thier path of snow ;D
-
£50.00 in and out take me an hour ;D
-
oh sorry i didnt see it was for quarterly cleans in that case i would go as low as £50 w.f.p. all windows and doors external!
-
i reckon about £40 too.
-
ok maybe i was a bit high with the price and time but i reckon there is no way you could clean them in and out in an hour comfortably!2 hours max inclu set up and driving away.so £70.dont forget you have to drive to your next job!you dont want to be working for less than £30 an hour on posh houses like these IMO.
dont forget they re on a 12 weekly so they will be dirty esp with the trees and ivy around the property.
-
Fiver a window in and out
-
If they were minging, i would charge around £110 for the intitial clean
WFP outsides, trad insides.
Then £70 there after
