Chops are you gonna fit it yourself?

I'd get one but it looks like I'm having a thermal Pure Freedom fitted now and they come with a frost stat, rest of my kit will go in the garage over night

Yeh I will fit it myself, I hate diy, and am not very good at it, But I muddle through, Think from what gav says, you just need too drill 2 holes in for air intake and outlet.
I could not afford a hot water system with frost stat, So this is my best option.
I said when I moved to my new house I would probably have to have a night heater like lorries, as I have to park at least 50 metres from the house, and there is no getting power to the van.
It will keep my van from freezing, No condensation dripping on the new bench seats in the rear I had fitted last year, and will save having to carry my pump box, hose reel etc 50+ metres into the house and back again in the morning.
Plus it will keep my mrs happy!!

top bit of kitt - i had one last year after all that snow - easy fit two inch holes in floor wire up stat and hook up gas , 20 mins top - they sound great bit like a deep v8 , ive got a silencer coming for mine this year .

set stat to temp wanted and it fires up , it hooks up to a 12 volt batt also , i used a spare one just in case it run the main one down . i had mine running 24/7 friday to monday morn last year no problems

you will need to insulate the van tho really or you will be wasting heat - ive just spent 2 days insulating my new one - found a cracking insulatation , 10mm foam carpet underlay , just spray tacked glue to sides and roof with ply over the top .

we used to sleep in van a bit in my old job, We just liberated some kingspan insulation sheets off site, and used expanding foam to stick it to the roof and sides of the van. Might do similar with some thinner insulation.
