During the snow in jan my mate did his weeks work just tradding the bottoms no tops at all, his customers were fine. Might follow his lead if it gets bad again only seen a few flakes of snow here, although it is ment to get worse next few days. dont get me wrong its freezing here too, just no snow!

guys that just trad bottoms only - i spoke to a wc last year that still charged for the whole house as norm.

he said that as wfp keeps them clean, the customer that werent in wouldnt see the difference!

in some small way he is right but still a bit naughty tho

I am trad anyway, and have never thought of just doing the bottom windows. Sounds a good idea if the conditions are against ladder work. Wouldn't charge full price though!

John.

Looks like a shortish week from here.  If temperatures stay at 0 I will be out there with late starts I imagine.  If I have to do a week of afternoons only (with rock salt) I will consider that I've done OK.  It's still possible to earn a reasonable bit just doing a week of half days.

temps for me are looking above 0, for the week , although not overnight. I'll be trying to defrost my gear so i can work during the day. Also have all trad tools and poles so see how we go !

WFP WONT KEEP WINDOWS CLEAN FROM A BIRDSTRIKE, WHICH YOU COULDNT NESCESCARILY SEE FROM THE GROUNDFLOOR. NOT THAT I WOULD CHARGE FOR TOPS I HADNT DONE ANYWAY...ADJUST THE PRICE ACCORDINGLY.
