think its the heater plugs, got to pick new ones up to moz and try and fit them, wouldnt start and took heater plugs out and they where covered in oil, it is either the turbo has a problem and is leaking oil or it was diesel mixed with soot which made it look like oil, but its been that cold, cant be bothered standing out side, want to get a new van, as heating packed up 2 weeks ago, but am all skint for xmas now lol,

it easy to test each glow plug in situ . just remove the tiny nut and the wire from each plug then run a thin wire from the +ve battery terminal and "touch" the wire onto the glow plug terminal. if it sparks the glow plug is all good. no spark = duff plug

why is wfp a waste of time in this weather?ive been starting at 11am and working till 330pm wed/thurs/fri/sat.
no freezing on the glass apart from a unheated porch!
1.trad ground floors if water is an issue.
2.put salt/grit down on the odd door/path way.
3.bring as much of your gear in every night and put a big thick duvet over tank/barrels.
i use a cold system and temp has been -2 at 11am and still no freezing in jets/brush/glass.
if your thinking of climbing a ladder in this weather if you ve got wfp then you really must be dumb!!no chance!!if it really gets bad i would just either clean downstairs trad and charge half price or use a trad pole on uppers with screenwash in my bucket.
