Hello All,
I know this question has probably been asked before.
How long do gas cannisters last in portable gas heaters?
Regards.
-
Depends on how often u use it and on what heat setting you have it set on
-
Mine would last four weeks when used on all houses, 5 days a week 7 hours a day.
-
And the BTU of the heater.

Hello All,
Thanks for all your replies.
I got up this morning however and found the gas had ran out as the back of van was still frozen all hoses solid the lot, basically.
To be honest it was only a very small heater, the type that your only meant to use for about an hour at a time to make the gas last, sort of thing.
Will try B&Q later.
Thanks again.

I WOULD BE CAREFUL .i know that its illegal to have a portable gas heater inside a caravan. a woman i know was fined for doing that

You also gotta remember, when you turn off your hose the gas turns off. The burners come on, on demand.
So its only using gas as long as you are working ;)
