Title: First winter wfp--freezing

its not going to get above zero all week , will my wfp still work or will it freeze up . I still want to work if i can.what do you do ?

I left at 5.30 this morning van was showing -5.5 degrees.
Cleaned the windows on 2 pubs,
     1st pub done with mop and squeegy, added some screen wash to water in bucket, no problems.
     2nd pub done with wfp, only took 25 mins to do the outside but no problems.

 I do have a small fan heater left on, in the van when I am at home, night and day, so i have no problems with pipes etc freezing.

You can protect the van and pipework overnight by clearing as much water as you can from the pipes and pumps, and pole hose.

The big gamble is if your reel and jets will freeze when you are out. With the hose running over thick frosted ground, it doesn't take long for it to ice up.

I do wonder about some of the comments on here about leaving dangerous ice patches...just how much water do you chuck at the windows?!

Have just spent half of Sunday trying to unfreeze the pipes to fill my tank up via the RO. Just wondernig if anyone has any tips on this matter - the tap is metal, so i unheated that with a garden heater but the actual pipe is plastic (and quite wide / industrial kind) - part of it as about half a meter of the ground, the rest is on the ground going to the water supply. What do I do????
Also I am in south-east - so during day it is about 3 degrees throughout this week - will it unfreeze enough if I start at 4-5 filling the tank up, rather than first thing in the morning??

Just go trad for a while, try the wfp but Ijust trad when it's too cold
