Moaning about "girls" using a glide is like moaning about power steering, I just dont get it,why make life harder for yourself without one

How do you fit a Teflon glide properly, mine is a tight fit to get on and off.
I would imagine they are better off being sealed to the wand to extract more water. Then again Airflow springs into the equation?

Do you seal yours if so what with?

If it were sealed it would probably be used as a glided wand and you would need another wand for when you didn't want to use the glide.

Getting it on is easier if you place in very hot water for 10 minutes or so.
If you seal it you wont get it off very easy.
In fact I dont seal mine, there are leaks at each end - and I like it that way, as you mention air flow.
Still does a good job on the carpets - Im pleased, customer pleased, jobs a good un.

Keith as joe has mentioned treat them like a gum shield boiling hot water for 10 mins makes them plyable watch your fingers taking them out ouch
place on wand nice and tight then stand the wand in a washing bowl of cold water for a couple of minutes thats how i do mine
