Title: Powering pump from cigarette lighter socket
Post by: jonboywalton75 on November 27, 2010, 03:54:32 am
Anyone know where i can buy a lead to power my pump from the 12v cigarette supply socket in the back of my van?
I only want to do this if my leisure battery dies.
Cheers for any help.

I have a Vyair 5 lm 100psi pump, would this provide emergency power in the event of a dead battery?

u need to find out the amp of the pump   usually about 7-8 amp  so u need a bigger fuse, adn possible a bigger cable to handle the power,   i had one made by a spark and uses 17 amp speakers power cables,  i had to get it all soldered up to make it work properly, something to do with the earthing of it
