I'm working on software to allow you to use your smartphone to track your due jobs, payments received, etc (a bit like Pocket George if you are familiar with that). Would any of you guys use something like that on your phone or do you think it's a gimmicky idea? What other things would you like to be able to do on your phone? Perhaps you can think about this whilst waiting for the snow to stop ;D
-
Chris personally i think you are wasting your time with this.

I would love to have my round, debts, takings on my iPhone. But it would depend on how much it would cost?
-
Already done on WCP as long as your phone runs windows mobile
-
i started years ago using pda running windows so using an excel sheet
window cleaner pro £177 plus vat, with mobile system
http://www.windowcleanerpro.com/
round tracker pro v4 @£37!
http://www.windowcleaningresources.co.uk/html/software_programs.html
i think that will work on windows exel mobile
you can see how you get on using them mobile if it dont work for you just use it at home
i found it work for me so long as i had handy, and dont drop it in ya bucket! lol ;D

no!not for me!i like having my work on my laptop at home as i like to spend my time at work cleaning as much as i can!then i spend 10 mins in the evening updating then another 10 mins printing invoices etc.etc.
mobiles are easily lost/damaged or stolen and are too small for round software IMO.im more than happy to just have it for the purpose it was intended for.(calls and texts)

I'm really talking about a system for iPhone/Blackberry/Android type phones, which are so much easier to use that the old Palm or Windows Mobile variety. I'm hoping that most owners of these type of phones would love a window cleaning app! (but I could be wrong ???)

but how much is the question?

Yes I would love to have the WCP on my I phone. It make it a lot easier.

@doctorwindows The app I'm working on wouldn't cost anything as I'm just providing a way to access your existing Aworka account on your mobile. It would be too risky to run your business solely from your phone as they are too easy to lose or damage, so there would always need to be communication with a cloud-based system (like mine), or synchronisation with a desktop PC app (like George or WCP) to ensure your data is backed up.

im using the good old style pen and paper oh and netbook lol ;D
-
If I could manage it from my iPhone I'd be interested.

I have an iPhone and would consider it.

My software is web based and theoretically I could run it off my X10, (provided I made the programme accessible via the www)
Not really sure on that though, there are loads of benefits etc. Would it be "cloud based" that way if the phone is lost/stolen it is not such a major issue.

Is that the software you are using? When you say you could theoretically run it on your X10, do you mean just by viewing the normal web site on your phone, or is their a mobile optimised version?

No that's not mine.
Mine is basically a website that is not hooked to the web (if you see what I mean)
It could be made available online then I could access it through my web browser on the phone.
