so the winter is starting to freeze up the odd garage roof...and we expect freezing weather soon...
Hope you have all got your winterisation complete and spare cash in the bank for no-work days...
Anyone just leaving the uk for the winter?

Got myself a contract with Deutsche Bahn (German Railways) clearing points on the main station here. 11 hour shifts on stanby, decent rate. So when it's too cold to work, we are busy anyway. ;D We live only 10 minutes away from the station, so paid to watch TV ;D ;D ;D

Looks like were going to have another bad winter...the next two weeks look bad with temps down to -7 at night and hovering around zero during the day...
The cloggie seem to be very good at the weather predicting lark and do not seem to get it wrong very often...so...I'll work when I can and when I cannot..I'll watch tv...and go mad like last year ;D....good for you Cozy..

I've got €16 netto per hour for that Dave. When I had my own contract, we charged €26 netto. This contract is from another Brit living in Bielefeld. Not great money but a good safety valve. Minus 18c a few times last winter. :o
