Hello Lads
Looking to start up early next year
Have a budget of around £3.5k for van and all gear, will want to use a WFP system. Any advise on what kind of gear to go for? Problem may be I will be travelling up to 1 hour away from home for jobs so can not easily refill the water so need to find a way of storing enough for a day in the Van.
What I would appreciate help on are:
1. What Van should be the best to go for baring in mind the budget and need to cary enough water for a whole days work
2. What kind of WFP system would be best baring in mind the budget? what is a good website to look at for this?
3. What gear do I need to make purified water?
Thanks

Hi Tom
I would get a hand held TDS meter and check the hardness of the water in your area. Depending on the hardness might determine which route you go down for WFP. After you have done this, check out ebay and this site for second hand kit. For £3.5k you will get a pretty good kit to set you on the way.
Size wise, if working on your own a 350 litre tank is ample, I would not look at anything smaller.
Cheers and good luck.

Thanks for the replies lads
Looks like I will be trying to find a cheap van and building a DIY WFP system
