Title: Swivel Idea.
Post by: chopsie on November 18, 2010, 09:16:42 pm
What do you lads who rinse on glass (thus not having to aim pencil jets to rinse off) think of somehow adapting this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Silverline-675341-Plastering-Swivel-Pole-Sander-235X80_W0QQitemZ380285791213QQcmdZViewItem?rvr_id=170555740182&rvr_id=170555740182&cguid=5ba1d2c012c0a0e203324182ff3bba6d
It would mean not needing to adjust an angle adapter as the brush head will always be sitting flush with the surface, even ledges. Is it a goer?

I've got that exact item chopsie (for sanding though) It did cross my mind while sanding with it BUT- once the pad leaves the wall you have no controll over it, it just flops down! So rinsing off would be impossible amongst other things. ;)

Very heavy too.
Still found nothing to beat the old stanley paint pad handle swivel.
They have to be converted though.
