You can ask for as much as you like when selling work, it just comes down to how much somone is prepared to pay for it !

This used to go on a lot before the days of the internet when rounds were sold (in London) in Loot.
Canvass up a round by heavy duty canvassing , do minimal work to keep it maintained then sell it for £10K to some mug who thinks its a business but actually its a list of names and addresses.
Dissappear to Thailand or Goa till the ten grand runs out, then come home, repeat exercise and go back.
