hi guys
i have insurance with alexander swan for my van and wc liability etc.
but iwas asked how much ladder use and i said 10% its a lot less than this as it is at the m oment.
for all you trade guys how much is your insurance coming out at and if doing gutter clearing or roof cleaning can you get a bolt on premium to cover this?
just asking you guys rather than getting a sales pitch by an insurance company before i enquire.

Marc, not sure what ( if any ) the differences are in the UK but my PL Insurance policy here in Dublin covers me for all the usual stuff and includes working at height on ladders or roofs etc. up to 15 meters and to a depth of 5 meters.
The premium is €650 per year ( c. 580 sterling )
I think most policies for our industry are like this,
