must just be me then :'(

David it is not you
We have had thte gutter vac for some years now and the clamps never hold that well
We have had free replacements so no bother with the customer service but once they have been used for a while and get dirty they are a bother
We often tape the joints, no clamps just strong 3in plastic tape and it works well don't use gaffa though as it leaves glue residue
It takes a bit of getting used too but tape is best

Dont laugh but maybe one/two ring of tape to act as a buffer to create a small ridge fitted to thebase of the top pole to slide base pole up to the top pole then fasten up the clip ! I really do like eleccy tape it soo versatile.

I use wingspade clips on mine 50-70mm - Basically a jubilee clip with a blue collar on it - works fine for me

Same as Terry, these came with our Omni-vac - all good a year on...
