Title: omni vac poles

i have the omni vac system and it works very well but i have trouble tightining up the pole clamps does anyone else have this problem

keep thinking there must be a beter way of securing the poles together

any ideas

David it is not you

We have had thte gutter vac for some years now and the clamps never hold that well

We have had free replacements so no bother with the customer service but once they have been used for a while and get dirty they are a bother

We often tape the joints, no clamps just strong 3in plastic tape and it works well don't use gaffa though as it leaves glue residue

It takes a bit of getting used too but tape is best

Dont laugh but maybe one/two ring of tape to act as a buffer to create a small ridge fitted to thebase of the top pole to slide base pole up to the top pole then fasten up the clip ! I really do like eleccy tape it soo versatile.

I use wingspade clips on mine 50-70mm - Basically a jubilee clip with a blue collar on it - works fine for me

Same as Terry, these came with our Omni-vac - all good a year on...
