this is to a question which has been bugging me for a few days, as most people i gat water from the tap at mo( but am looking at a few different options)
i can get water from a stream, which is slight not clear, as the water where i live goes threw a lot of clay hills (cornwall) the questions is even if the water is not clear but has a tds of 000, is it any good?

Get a cup full, throw it at your windows and see how it dries. ;D ;D

But keep hold of the cup when you throw it.
Are you going to take the windows down to the stream to clean them?

I saw a guy last year using a puddle to dampen his applicator, thats dirty water, even offer to give him some water thinking he had ran out :o you should be able to filter the stream water not sure if the water way authority has to know unless it runs through your property directly.
