Title: Two Pumps One tank.

Obviously this is done alot. I have just rigged two pumps up today to one tank.
I have the elbow coming out of the tank, then a cut of valve in case of emergencies then it goes into a y piece and onto both pump.

Just wondered if there would ever be any difference in water flow running two pumps from one tank opposed to just the one.

Or id there still plenty of flow available for both pumps.

Using 1/2" hose, but obviously the y piece and elbow are thinner.

I use a very similar set up T piece instead of Y to two sureflo pumps and don't notice any problems in flow compared to when I had separate feeds from the tank.

Ive recently upgraded my system to 2 pumps running off 1 tank outlet.  Best thing i have done, we now both get ample water flow, as we were running 2 lines off 1 pump. You should have no probs.

Same as above, if anything I'm sure the flow is better as you have both pumps pulling the water from the tank.

First time having another pump in the van. Got someone starting with me.
Am thinking I should of gone with a bigger van now just for more water, but dont mind re filling on lunch break for a more manageable sized vehicle.

Or adding another small tank.

Fill up some 25ltr containers and if your running low then just top up.
