Title: Truckmount clean wanted
Post by: Adam Fearnley on November 15, 2010, 12:28:17 pm
Hi, I'm doing a clean today but house possibly has a faulty RCD which my porty will probably trip.  Is there a truckmount user around the Camberley area that could do the clean tomorrow if I'm not able to?  It's for an average size lounge, and two 2 seaters.  A rough price would be welcome too.

Thanks

If you have no other option you could ask the neighbours to use there  electric and offer a couple pounds and a discount on future clean, it's worked for us before when been in a difficult situation, it's surprising how helpful people can be sometimes, prob best to check if they get on with them first though  ;D

Good idea Steve, thanks, still open for offers though if this doesn't work.

whats the job worth?, surely renting a genny for the day is better than losing it all to one of those pesky truckmounter boys

Hi Adam

I could do that for you if you like but not sure what time in the afternoon I would be able to get there.

Derek's idea's not a bad one though.

Call me on 07809 740143 if you need to.

Cheers

Simon

I plugged it into neighbours house, tripped it also, its these pesky new RCD's, too sensitive.  She's going to wait and get a company she used before but thanks Simon.  I gave her bit of discount and quoted £100, I don't think many truckers would get out of bed for that ;D

How much is a genny for the day D? it's going to need to be over 3Kw continuous power right?

Sure it is both rcd that are faulty and not your machine?
